CARDIAC HEALTH SCREENING CLINICS
Why OFA Screening is Important
Routine screening of breeding animals can help detect subclinical congenital or age-related diseases. Obtaining an OFA Advanced Cardiac Certification from a board-certified Cardiologist is the gold standard screening exam.
While a single congenital screening is sufficient for the life of the animal, yearly monitoring for the development of age-related diseases is recommended.
The OFA databases are central to the organization's objective of establishing control programs to lower the incidence of inherited disease. They serve all breeds of dogs and cats and provide breeders with a means to respond to the challenge of improving the genetic health of their breed through better breeding practices.

On behalf of the Boca Raton Dog Club, we would like to thank you both for giving up your day to do the Cardiology Clinic on March 12th at the " South Florida Classic Dog Show".
I had such a great time working with you. It all went so well. Just loved your organized and competent way of doing this very important clinic for our exhibitors. Your skill in Veterinary Cardiology is outstanding. This as you know is a cause very close to my heart and I hope to continue doing it every year.
You are all the best! See you next year!
