Maggie Lamy, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology) 

Dr. Maggie Lamy grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah. She then received her DVM from the University of Florida in 2009. She spent a year as a rotating Intern at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey before completing a 4-year Cardiology residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lamy has done extensive research on cardiac biomarkers and their use in small animal practice. She led the development of the feline NT-proBNP cage-side SNAP test, as a way to detect asymptomatic feline heart disease. She has been a part of several large-scale clinical trials, including PROTECT and EPIC, and participated in the evaluation of Torsemide as an alternative diuretic in dogs. Recently, she was involved in the evaluation of diet-related cardiomyopathy in Golden Retrievers through UC Davis.

Dr. Lamy worked in clinical practice for 5 years in South Florida before turning to consulting, and telemedicine full time. Her favorite areas of Cardiology include mitral valve disease, ECG interpretation, and feline cardiomyopathy. She is focused on providing personalized service and is looking forward to broadening the availability of Cardiac specialty medicine to veterinarians across the country.

Dr. Lamy is fortunate to work from home and shares her life in sunny Florida with her husband, 3 daughters, 2 dogs, and horse.

Adam Moore, DVM - Internal Medicine

Dr. Moore received his veterinary degree from the University of Sydney in Australia, followed by a small animal rotating internship in West Palm Beach, FL, and a specialty internship in internal medicine in Cordova, TN.

He completed his residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Boren Veterinary Medical Center at Oklahoma State University, during which he received a research grant to study the effects of snake venom in dogs and horses. He has also passed the SAIM specialty board examination and is awaiting acceptance of his publication to receive full board certification.

Dr. Moore enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but is particularly passionate about infectious and gastrointestinal diseases. When he is not working, he enjoys hiking in the mountains and spending quality time with his spouse, newborn baby boy, and an ever-growing number of pets and farm animals.

Anne grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and attended Michigan State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Merchandising Management. She spent 8 years in Chicago working for a Marketing Company and 4 years at the University of Michigan in Human Resources before she met her now-husband and started traveling the country with him and his career.

Anne began working with Dr. Lamy and Coastal Veterinary Cardiology in 2019. She has grown with the company, and is head of Marketing and Client Relations.

Anne is fortunate to work from home with her husband and dog. When not working she enjoys being active, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
